Project 150 Reno serves over 3,500 homeless, displaced and disadvantaged students in over 30 high schools in Northern Nevada. These teens are in constant need of hygiene supplies, school supplies, clothing, and food.

Ways to support Project 150 Reno

  1. Donate: Project 150 Reno collects teen-appropriate clothing, toiletries, non-perishable food, and school supplies year round. However, monetary donations enable Project 150 to leverage discounts with bulk purchases and fill in the gaps to ensure there are adequate resources for every student in need. Monetary donations enable Project 150 to purchase in-demand items when they are most needed. Our Amazon Wish List contains some of our most frequently purchased items and current needs. If you’d like to purchase goods locally, please review the wishlist for ideas or contact us for our most urgent needs. You may drop off your donations at the Project 150 Reno Boutique, located at 1340 Foster Drive, Reno, NV 89509.
  1. Volunteer: We are 100% volunteer operated! To be a volunteer, you must be 18 years or older. If you are under 18, you must have parent/guardian approval. We accept individual volunteers and groups. Contact us at info@project150reno.org to find out more about our volunteer opportunities. We are currently looking for volunteers to help in the following ways:
    • Boutique Volunteer – assist high school students find clothing and shoes (Wed/Sat afternoons)
    • Boutique Volunteer – sort and fold clothes, restock and organize shelves (Tues afternoons)
    • Building maintenance and cleaning
    • Donation pickups
    • Community outreach
  1. Host a Drive: Your business, organization, school, church, or other community group can make a big difference by hosting a drive to collect critical supplies and spreading the word! We collect NEW teen appropriate clothing, toiletries, non-perishable food, and school supplies year round. Every in-kind donation helps us stretch the budget! Hosting a collection drive does more than help us provide these critical items to those in need, it raises awareness in the community! We can help you get started and even provide collection bins. Please contact us for more information about hosting a drive at info@project150reno.org
  1. Spread the Word: Most people want to help: they just need to be asked. You can send emails, use postcards or flyers, or post to Facebook, Twitter and other social media. Bring up the drive at meetings and group gatherings. Host a party and ask guests to bring a donated item. Get Creative!
